Today marks my first venture into the world of blogging. (is that a real verb?) Anyway, the site is up and running. I will TRY to blog everyday or two. Right now I am polishing and transcribing Destiny. He those of you who are keeping track, yes that is the first full length historical romance I ever wrote. Yes I wrote the original thirteen years ago, but who's counting. So I final brussed the dust off the only copy I have (which sucks because the original chapters 2 & 5 are missing). I am not rewiting it, I'm just polishing any rough edges I find as I go along. Devon is still our dashing Pirate, but his last name is no longer Paige since that is now one of my granddaughter's middle names. And our herione is not Jenna any more, it is Damiana because my newest granddaughter born in December is named (drum roll) Jenna. I think Damiana is more romantic than writing love scenes with my granddaughter's name.
So the agent in charge of my romances will have this thing ina few days and we will know when this is coming out. Some of you have already requested Orchid Island. The good news is that work one that was had already begun some time ago, so it will be the next one out the door.
I am still recovering from all that walk last week. My knees are still screaming at me. Especially from trying to keep up with that interesting soccer playing agent I had lunch with. Back to the grind stone. See ya' tomorrow.

Well the typing continues. I was not the writer I am today, that's for sure. What I want to know is how the word count per page is the same when I have it formatted correctly and when I didn't know what the format was!
I love my mommy-in-law. I know I joke that she is my appology from God for my own mother and my first mother- in-law, but she is really great. She offered to edit my books, check it for spelling, grammar... But I got to thinking about it. It wouldn't be a problem for her to edit the contemporary works because most of the sex is mentioned not shown. But the romances, now that could get interesting. Do i really want my husband's mother reading the dirty parts of the books? She says she doesn't care, but I think I do. Obviously by my books you can tell I'm not a prude. But having the mother of the guy I do that stuff with reading it...NO!!! Danger Will Robinson Danger!!!.
Okay, now how is it that I write "soft core porn for bored housewives" as my 1sthusband refers to it, but compared to most of the people I know, I'm the prude?
What is there really to be prudish about? If a woman has had a baby, she's had sex at least once. So why do we have less of a problem seeing a pregnant woman, that advertizes she had sex, than seeing two people kissing in public? The human race is an odd lot.
Well the dinner bell is rung and i have 4 hungry males who can't figure out how to use the microwave unless it is to pop popcorn or heat up the chili cheese dip?

okay, I am be worst person on the planet when it comes to blogging I cannot suck anymore! I now have my Dragon speak, and now I can dictate rather than type, which is what I did to do I hereby pledge that from now on, I will blog everyday. Even if all I say is hi, bye or boo.
Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of my life by miracle boys graduate from high school. And he's actually walking across the stage emphasis on walking. There were many hours in the NICU and in the waiting rooms of too many hospitals that I feared this day would never come. I now it's here, he made it. There were many people that never thought he'd see this day. There were times I was afraid he'd never see it. But now here he is. He has pass high school. I rarely miss my father but I wish he had lived to see this. I give it anything to have my grandparents there is no scratch that. I know they're there. I know they're watching, but I would love to see the look of utter pride my grandmother would have had in her eyes. I'm glad most of the boys will be there until Lucas will be watching with Nana & Great-Pop. I just wish that Clayton could watch his oldest brother with pride like the others will.
Well Talie, it appears, has yet again done something stupid, for which I will have to keep layered from strangling him. Must go prevent bloodshed.
